Robots and space, what more can you ask for? Learn the basics of coding as you program your robot to navigate the obstacles of other worlds. Design rockets that could explore the vast expanses of space. Bring your astronauts back home safely by designing and testing re-entry vehicles. Explore MOSI's very own Mission: Moon Base, and get a great view of the stars at Saunders's Planetarium.

Engineering a New Beginning (11/23 - 11/25)

2nd - 4th Grade | 9 am - 4 pm daily | Non-Member: $180, Member: $135 
The early English settlers of America, had to use their knowledge of science and engineering to shape a new frontier into something that would eventually become their home. Learn how to make a bow and arrow from paper. Construct a settlement using natural resources that would feed and protect its inhabitants. Understand the best way to filter water for crops and build a boat that would transport your excess products back to England safely.

Did you know that this November marks the International Space Station’s 20th year around Earth? Learn about this and much more in this camp all about the wonders of space. You’re bound to have a blast as you use telescopes to observe the Sun safely (using a solar filter), learn about gravity and the physics of space, and build and launch a rocket on the last day of camp!
